COMMENTS:
A Pioneer extended play laserdisc recorded
at Hammersmith-Odeon in London, England.
Outstanding concert footage while on the
Nature of the Beast Tour. Interlaced with
interviews with band members during a bus
tour of downtown London. Also released on
VHS cassette.
There are at least two
versions of this disc/tape. The video's running time is 1 hour and 6
minutes. The running time on the disc is approx. 58 minutes.
Both versions are otherwise exactly the same until after the conclusion of
"Ladies Man." The disc version then cuts to the interlude where they are
riding the bus through Picadiily. In the video version,
following Ladies Man, there is an interlude of the boys in an arcade playing
video games. This leads into "Caught in the Crossfire" complete with
superimposed aliens from the Atari 2600 version of Space Invaders over the
concert footage.
The rest of the video, resuming with the Picadilly interlude and "Sign of
the Gypsy Queen" follows the same order until the conclusion of
"One More Time". Here is an extra interlude with Greenway, riding on the
top deck of the bus talking about his camera and attempting to tell the
camera man where they are. This segment leads into "21st Century Schizoid Man" which
leads to the imfamous "Fine erection" interlude. Roller follows in the
same way and order on both versions, but then on the tape, there is yet another extra
interlude featuring Mercer who is talking using a
pseudo-cockney accent. The disc only shows a brief shot of the bus
driving by with audio borrowed from the opening section of "I Like to Rock"
which is the next song.

COMMENTS:
A VHS 15 minute Hi-Fi video cassette released to promote
the album ANIMAL GRACE. PIONEERS is a tribute to
space exploration, intermixed with concert footage.
RIGHT ONE revolves around Wine landing their space craft
on a desolate planet. A necklace leads to struggle
between two women and a young boy. Vague. TELL ME
WHY has the band playing in the backseat of a white
convertible while Goodwyn sings to a woman while she
changes a flat tire. ENOUGH follows the band as
they travel down the road in an eighteen wheeler.
They start out crammed in the cab and then move to
the trailer. Along the way they pick up a bunch of
people standing along the side of the road.
