Phoebe
Another Little "Miracle" Rescued Dalmatian

Meet Phoebe.

She is not yet here, but we hope to have her home very soon.

What a sweet and innocent face!

This is Phoebe's "Aunt" Molly, who belongs to Gail, Phoebe's rescuer. She is such a patient nanny!

Where is the OFF button on this puppy?

This Phoebe's mother, Nina, who is still waiting for a forever home. She lost seven of her nine puppies to parvo, and only Phoebe and her brother survived. She is in the Santa Ana shelter in Southern California. This is the write up on her from Gail:

Santa Ana Animal Shelter Grand Avenue Pet Care Center
1602 N. Grand Avenue Santa Ana, CA 92701 (714) 558-7622
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 10am-3pm
Closed 2nd Wed of the month 12pm-2pm

Nina is a 2 year old Dalmatian who was dumped - very pregnant - at the Santa Ana Animal Shelter. Nina gave birth to 9 pure-bred puppies. They all came down with Parvo and only two survived, a girl and a boy. Yesterday, the girl came home with me - she'll be going to WA State to a wonderful new home! But I couldn't take Nina. Can anyone help this poor girl who's been dealt such a cruel hand in life so far?

This is Nickie, who is currently with Debi, another wonderful rescuer in Southern California. Nickie has a home waiting for her, through Britt, in Washington state. Nickie is from the Upland shelter, and will be coming north with Phoebe, as soon as a run is put together. Britt and I are both anxious to get this babies up here, and are very grateful for all the hard work that Gail and Debi do.
