Lost Dalmatian Puppy
Shortie is Missing, Philadelphia PA

Please help find this missing puppy!

This little puppy is 6 months old. Her name is Shortie, and she was last seen at American and Tabor Road in the Olney section of Philadelphia. She had a red collar on at the time, though that may be lost or replaced. There was a tag on the collar from the vet. She was lost on Sunday, May 27th, Memorial Day weekend.

Shortie's owner is frantically trying to find her. She writes this about her lost pup:

These pictures were taken in February. She is about 30 lbs. now, and her left eye looks a little smaller than her right eye because of the black marking around it. She had on her rabies tag when she got out of the yard.

My husband just died in January and that is when we got Shortie......so losing her is very difficult for us. My daughter who is 19 has been talking to some people on-line who live in Olney and they have been looking for us also.

I am offering a reward.

She has heavily spotted ears and line of spots on her back. She has spotting under her tail at the rear. She has spots onthe roof of her mouth. A couple of toenails on all paws are black.

By the time she was three months old she knew how to sit, shake hands, and lay down on command. By the time she was 4 1/2 months old, she was already housebroken. She is very shy around strangers until she gets to know them and will run away if approached by someone. Some children in the neighborhood claim that they saw her, but she kept running from them. I know that she was confused with all of the noise and cars as compared to where we live.

My cell phone # is 215-317-1360.

If you see Shortie, please call Debra immediately. If you can coax her to you, please be very careful as she is a shy, scared puppy. Please do not chase her.

Debra's phone number is posted above, or she can be contacted by email at Shortie's Mom, Debra.

Please help find this little lost pup. Permission granted to forward this page url to anyone in Pennsylvania or any of the surrounding states. Shortie could be anywhere in the weeks since she disappeared.
