MAGAZINE ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS

- 1976 -

"Plays and Players" vol. 23, no. 6 issue no. 269
March
"Knowing What to Celebrate" by John Lahr.
Peter Brook talks about rehearsals for "The Ik". Includes two photos of members of the cast, including Andreas.

- 1991 -

"Star Trek - The Official Fan Club Magazine" no. 78
February/March
Great pre-Babylon 5 interview where Andreas discusses his background in theater and how he develops a character.

- 1993 -

"Starlog" #188
March issue
"An Alien Abroad" by Jean Airey.
This interview was done with Andreas right after he was in the Babylon 5 pilot and centered more on his acting career up to that point, including how he traveled from St. Louis to New York to Paris to Los Angeles. He gave impressions of "Alien Nation" (he loved background work provided of the Newcomers) and Star Trek (told nothing about Romulans and had to make up his own character in Tomalak). It's also interesting in how little he seemed to know about Babylon 5 at the time.

- 1995 -

"Starlog Science-Fiction Explorer" #7.
June issue
"Shades of an Alien" by Jean Airey.
Starts off discussing the Northridge earthquake and the damage done to his house. He talks extensively about the changes in his character and enthuses about the thrill he has changing with G'Kar. He also discusses the make-up changes between the pilot and the series.

Andreas discusses his character and specific episodes. It's also here that he talks about his mom taking him to a community theater and how he got hooked on acting when he was 4.

"Sci-Fi Universe" Volume 4, #5.
August issue
"Babylon's Brothers" by Melissa J. Perenson.
Two separate but linked interviews, the other with Peter. Again discusses G'Kar but now as his relationship has grown with Mollari, Peter Brook, and his attitude towards acting. It appears that he would prefer to do comedy all of the time, thinks it goes best with his personality.

"T.V. Zone - Babylon 5 Special" special issue #30.
August issue
"Confessions of a Narn Icon" by Joe Nazzaro.
Discusses specific scenes in season 5, such as with Pat Tallman. Says he's just a simple guy who likes to eat doughnuts and watch "The Simpsons".
