I understand that you share information with other
dressage riders about horses for sale. I would appreciate it if you
could let people who might be interested, know that I have a horse that
they might want to look at. Due to hip replacement surgery, I have come
to the difficult decision to part with my wonderful Hanoverian gelding.
I have had him since he was six. I am 59 and an amateur rider; I would
say with intermediate skills. I showed him at many of the dressage shows
in the region including the Dry Side shows. He won reserve champion at
Training Level in Montana when he was 8 and in 2004, we earned Champion
in Training Level, adult amateur. He is 14, 17 hands, and black. When I
quit competing with him three years ago he was beginning to compete at
1st Level and schooling 2nd Level. At the time, we were earning scores
in the mid and upper 60's. He has Donnerkeil on the top side. I jumped
him a bit and took some lessons with him for the first two years I had
him but I do not want to sale him as a jumper! Since then, I have used
him as a trail horse and a posse horse (Adams County allows women in
their posse). He has been camping in the mountains and at the ocean. I
rode him in two parades last year. He is sound and healthy. I would
appreciate it if you could let people in your area know about him. I
have him posted on Dreamhorse but I am trying all avenues in hopes to
find just the right fit for him! He is a very endearing horse. I paid
$10,000 for him but will sale him for $7000., firm! He will need to be
brought back to fitness and tuned up for showing but he has a willing,
kind personality. He has great show presence and catches the judges eye.
