The great Republic of planets had used planet number 415 for centuries as a dumping ground of undesirable souls. This practice was abruptly ended when a terrorist managed to destroy the Republic's relocation station some 10, 000 orbiting sun cycles ago.
Included in the losses from the attack on the station was the collateral damage of the arriving Galaxy-Nipper freighter and it's crew. Some of the crew, along with the terrorist, managed to reach the planet's surface.
